You Me At Six at Gramercy Theater: Photo Gallery & Review

English rock band You Me at Six just embarked upon a North American Tour in support of their sixth and latest studio album VI which was released last October. Consisting of lead singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes and drummer Dan Flint, You Me at Six show no sign of slowing down. Playing to a sold out crowd at Gramercy Theatre in New York City on just the second night of tour, the quintet went hard, playing a solid set full of fan favorites and new tunes, never skipping a beat. Opening their set with “Fast Forward” off the new album, they were met by the enthusiastic crowd jumping and singing along word for word. From then, they powered through a fun, energetic hour and forty-five minute 18 song set and encore.

Fans from the front row at the barricade all the way to the last seat in the back of the theatre were excitedly screaming along, jumping and waving their arms through the entire powerhouse performance. Ending the night with “Underdog,” lead singer Josh Franceschi told the crowd he was “gonna go swimming” and dove off stage onto the waiting fans who held him up as he floated around above them before he was finally able to make it back to the stage.
